Tools and Tips for modifying Traffic Channel

In addition to the system requirements, the following development tools are required to modify Traffic Channel components:

Microsoft VisualStudio with Microsoft C++, version 5.0
Adobe Photoshop
PaintShop Pro

All executable components for Traffic Channel are built using Microsoft Visusal Studio Workspace files (.DSW). Workspace files provide cohesive access to all files in a given project and provide makefile dependancy checking. To open a specific workspace file, select "File | Open Workspace" from the VisualStudio menu bar. To open the project for the TrafficChannel.exe program, select \TrafficChannel\SourceCode\TV. The project for Cameras.exe is located at \TrafficChannel\VideoController\Cameras.
